Role
I am an experienced educator with a clinical background in nursing. I have worked at the University of Plymouth for ten years, during which time I have undertaken the programme leadership of undergraduate nursing programmes and masters level programmes.  I have experience in curriculum development, programme delivery and management. I provide academic leadership in professional issues for healthcare practitioners; collaborating across the Faulty of Health and with service colleagues.

In my role as Head of School of Nursing and Midwifery I provide academic management and leadership of a large, geographically dispersed School.

My scholarly and research interests include professional and employment issues; advanced nursing roles and role substitution. I am developing my interest in issues of sustainability through a Fellowship in the Centre for Sustainable Futures:     http://csf.plymouth.ac.uk
