Teaching interests
The analytical techniques of atomic spectrometry (FAAS, ETAAS, ICP-OES and ICP-MS) are taught on a regular basis to the undergraduate project students and to masters students as well as during practical classes. Similarly, chromatography coupled with atomic spectrometric detection and the theory behind speciation analysis is also taught.

Research interests
Analytical chemistry, especially advanced instrumental techniques such as atomic spectroscopy (FAAS, ETAAS, ICP-AES, ICP-MS, AFS and the coupling of hydride generation to these techniques). In addition, speciation analysis involving the coupling of chromatography (HPLC and GC) to the atomic spectrometric detectors, is also a research interest.
