Welcome to the home page for the School of Psychology at the University of Plymouth. Whether you are thinking of coming to study with us as an undergraduate or a postgraduate, or if you are interested in the research we do, the exciting new research studentships we have available, or you want to know more about our excellent team of academic staff and PhD students I hope you find what you need.
I am delighted to be Head of a dynamic and successful School of Psychology. Our last teaching evaluation rated us as excellent (23/24 in the TQA), and all our undergraduate courses were re-accredited by the BPS last year (see the list of commendations we received for our teaching). In the 2008 RAE, we submitted 34.5 staff (making us the 12th largest research School of Psychology in the UK), and 85% of our research was rated at international standard. Our teaching and laboratory facilities were completely refurbished in 2008, in support of our excellence in teaching and research.
If you are interested in finding out more, and possibly joining us in the future, use the links above or the menu on the left to have a look around. If you have any specific questions please do get in touch with us.
