Alumni careers network

Careers network

Could you use your professional knowledge to help current students and fellow alumni in the career choices?  We are setting up an alumni careers network to do just that.  Find out more from the careers network page.

Plymouth's Progress - alumni magazine

The Hoe, Plymouth

The new annual alumni magazine was launched at the end of last year.  If you didn't receive a copy this time, email us your postal address at alumni@plymouth.ac.uk to ensure you receive the next edition.  In the meantime, you can view it on-line: Plymouth's Progress - alumni magazine (PDF).

International alumni groups

Alumni volunteers from Beijing to Rio de Janeiro have helped us set up networking groups in their countries. They organise events and some have a facebook page, so members can keep in touch on a regular basis.  Find out if there's a group in your country or how to establish a group with our help from the alumni groups page

Alumni events

International students

To help you keep in touch with each other and to meet new Plymouth alumni, we run a series of events in the South West and beyond; sector-specific events aimed at keeping you up to date with topical issues in your field; and our international alumni volunteers organise events across the globe. Find out about forthcoming events from the alumni events page.

Reunions

If you want to organise a reunion, we can help you. We can book meeting space at the university, including the Students' Union, promote your event in Evolve, our e-newsletter and help you find former classmates.  Also, if you are thinking of establishing a sector-specific group related to your career or leisure interest, get in touch and we can help you.

Automatic postgraduate awards

Knowledge Transfer Partnership opportunities

At work on a KTP

If you want to apply your degree, start a graduate-level job and even gain a professional qualification at the same time, then a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) could be right for you.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a three-way project between a graduate, an organisation and an educational institution. KTPs help businesses to innovate and advance; and give graduates the opportunity to manage a challenging project with the support of experienced academic staff.

Check out the latest
KTP vacancies or find out more about the KTP programme from the graduate or business perspective at the KTP homepage.
