Business Placements & General Graduate Recruitment Fair

• Business and Management - The university has been offering dedicated Business and Management degrees for many years and has developed subject expertise in general management as well as specialising in areas such as International Business, Marketing, Accounting & Finance and Hospitality & Tourism. There are approximately 130 students seeking placements and 600 final year students on these courses, all strongly encouraged to attend. Previous students have found graduate positions all over the world as Marketing Coordinators, Management Accountants, Finance Officers, Bar & Restaurant Managers, Travel Consultants and Conference & Events Sales Executives, amongst many other roles.
• Law - Law at Plymouth endorses employability and vocational skills alongside academic development with emphasis on linking with the 'real world'. The key courses are the LLB Law and the BSc (Hons) Law Major and Minor degrees. We also offer postgraduate and professional programmes including the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course . There are approximately 280 students on these courses seeking placements, graduate positions and training contracts.
• Logistics - Shipping and Logistics has a long history at Plymouth. Our Maritime Business course can be combined with Law or Logistics. Many of our graduates are employed in shipping and logistics businesses around the globe and have secured graduate positions as Chartered Surveyors, Navigation Officers and Business Analysts. There are approximately 80 students on these courses who will be strongly encouraged to attend.

In the last few years graduates have gained employment with Ernst & Young, Babcock Marine, IBM, Faber Maunsell and JP Morgan amongst others.

The fee for attending the fair includes exhibition space in the state of the art Roland Levinsky Building , refreshments, packed lunches, assistance from students and staff throughout the day and advertising via the careers website and the event brochure.

Discount - any organisation will be able to benefit from attending more than 1 event with a 25% reduction in event charges for the second and all subsequent fair bookings.
