Plymouth is easily reached by following the M5 motorway and then continuing on the A38 Expressway via Exeter. It's about a three-and-a-half-hour journey from London to Plymouth. A full list of car parks and their locations can be found on the Plymouth City Council website (www.plymouth.gov.uk). By bicycle
Travelling to the university by train + bicycle is feasible - Plymouth Station is close to the campus, but check on train regulations. Cycling all the way is more ambitious, but Plymouth lies on two National Cycling Routes. NCN27 crosses Devon to Ilfracombe on mainly traffic-free routes and Devon sections of the English south coast route NCN2, are being developed. Cycling along the A38 is not recommended. Overnight accommodationIf you want to visit and wish to stay overnight, the Devon Tourist Board can provide information on accommodation near our campuses.
