International scholarships

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements


Undergraduate

We require a recognised foundation degree in addition to the Baccalaureat General or Baccalaureat Technique. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College UPIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

Please note: for Plymouth Business School courses, only the Baccalaureat General or Baccalaureat Technique is required. Applicants must have achieved a minimum grade of 14 out of 20.


Postgraduate

We require either a bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut or a Maitrise (equivalent to a British bachelor’s degree) or a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures/Approfondies (equivalent to a British master’s degree) with the following classification:

Lebanese degree classification (French) Lebanese degree classification (American) Alternative name UK degree equivalent
18–20 90%–100% or A First class 1st
15–17 80%–89% or B Division A or Division 1 2:1
12–14 70%–79% or C Division B or Division 2 2:2


English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g., IELTS) or successful completion of one of the University's pre-sessional English language courses is required.
