Welcome to the Student Funding Unit and the Bursaries Office

We are a friendly team of specially trained staff who can help with all types of financial query, no matter how great or small
The Student Funding Unit in Room 12 , Hepworth House deals with

• Enquiries about statutory student financial support [student grants and loans]
• Advice on other funding sources 
• The Access to Learning Fund and Additional (part time) Fee Support Scheme
• Financial emergencies 
• Student support activation [scanning]

The Bursaries and Scholarships Office, in Room 10, Hepworth House, deals with

• Bursaries under the University's OFFA provisions, including application forms for the Relocation Bursary and Independent Student Hardship Bursary.
• Care leaver's and Foyer bursaries.
• EU funding
• Placement funding
• EU and International financial emergencies
• Student support activation [scanning]

We do not deal with:

• Payment of tuition fees (go to the Finance Office)
• US Loans [contact Sally Crabb, sally.crabb@plymouth.ac.uk   ]
• Postgraduate scholarships and studentships (go to the Faculty / Graduate School)
• Authorisation of Career Development Loans [go to Faculty Office] 
• Payment of NHS, Social Work or Teacher Training Bursaries - these are dealt with by Faculty contacts.
• The Reynolds Scholarship [this is dealt with by the Faculty of Technology]
