University of Plymouth Colleges - Welcome

Local opportunity...

Lifetime achievement

The University of Plymouth Colleges (UPC) network provides high quality dispersed education to serve its communities, to widen participation and to further economic development.

New educational dawn

Through UPC, the University of Plymouth has created a dispersed, academic community that not only provides local opportunity but also fuels the local economy and stimulates local regeneration.

Benefits for all

UPC is special because it cares about locality. It also cares about people and recognises that not everyone can spend three years studying on one of the University's main campuses.

By bringing higher education opportunities closer to home, UPC ensures that every part of the South West can benefit from University of Plymouth courses - and that can only be good news for students, businesses and the local economy.

HELP CETL website

The Higher Education Learning Partnership (HELP) Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) builds on the nationally recognised track record of the University of Plymouth Colleges Faculty (UPC). The HELP CETL works to support the development of innovation within the University of Plymouth Colleges network and further develop an HE in FE culture through scholarly activity and collaborative working.
