"The Business Ideas Challenge competition has become over the years a key vehicle for unlocking the enterprise talent of staff, students and alumni from the University and its partner colleges. Previous winners ideas have been varied and innovative and have contributed positively to the social and economic health of our economy. I have seen many of those that have entered the competition, not just the winners, start and run their own businesses as a result and have been interested to follow their progress. I hope and indeed expect those that enter this time around to achieve the same high standards and outcomes as in previous years."
Prof Julian Beer

Director, Research and Enterprise & Pro Vice-Chancellor (Regional Enterprise)
